Here are a few tips to help you prepare for a bridal show or wedding expo. Be prepared for the show to ensure your wedding is a huge success.
- Wear comfortable shoes and plan to make a day of it
- Get there early and pre-register, if possible, to save time
- Bring a friend or relative for advice and a second opinion
- Leave small children at home
- Be prepared and bring a list of questions for each vendor
- Have a game plan - review the list of vendors in advance and decide which ones you would like to visit
- Bring a note pad to take notes and be sure to get the contact information of vendors you would like to follow up with
- Print address labels with your name, address, phone number and email address - use them to save time
- Always ask vendors if they provide a discount for attending the bridal show
- Bring a checkbook for deposits and be prepared to make some decisions
- Bring your calendar to check vendor availability
- Bring color swatches
