Fabulous Fifty Theme
A fabulous at fifty party theme is a great way to celebrate someone who is a half century old. The best way to celebrate that person by throwing a party.
Some people are excited and look forward to turning fifty and want to have a get together with family and friends to celebrate this milestone.
Others wish to have a smaller more intimate party to commemorate the special day. Some might prefer to do something they have always wanted to do
such as skydiving or travel to a foreign country.
When planning the celebration, it's best to consider the the guest of honor when deciding on the type of event to plan. If he/she doesn't like surprises,
it's best to respect his wishes and plan an event he would feel comfortable with.

- Dinner Party
-
Invite a small group of the person's closest friends and family members. Hire help to make a delicious dinner or go out to a restaurant as a group. Be
sure to make reservations to ensure everyone sits together.
If the dinner party is held at a private residence, make sure the dinner table is memorable. A pretty place setting and coordinating centerpiece can have a
huge impact.
- This is Your Life
- This theme is a great alternative to the "OVER THE HILL" party theme. Ask guests to return a questionaire
answering the following questions (you can also make up your own questions):
- My favorite thing about John (use guest of honor's name) is ___________.
- My most memorable moment with John was ______________.
- John cracks me up when he _____________.
- When John was a child he _____________.
- The dumbest thing I ever saw John do was ______________.
- List five words that describe John.
Create a photo slide show featuring the life of the guest of honor. Ask friends and family members to send photos and stories to include in the
photo slide show. Include the best questions and answers from the list above. The slideshow can be organized by timeline or by significant events
in the person's life. You can also put the answers, stories, and photos in a scrapbook for the guest of honor to keep.
This party theme allows everyone to participate.
