Magic Party
Does your child love magic? Why not hire a magician to perform a magic show for your child's birthday party. Magic shows are high energy and keep guests engaged and entertained.
For many years, adults and children have been amazed by the magic tricks and illusions of David Copperfield and Harry Houdini. In more recent years, entertainers like David Blaine and Chris Angel have made magic fascinating for younger children.
A professional magician will amaze children and adults with tricks performed with coins, cards rope and ordinary objects found around the house. Magicians can also add an element of comedy to their magic routines.
Black, red and silver are great colors to decorate with. Balloons and streamers are an inexpensive way to decorate a room.
Provide each guest with a magic wand , cape and top hat .
Silver star wands are perfect for the girly magician. As an unexpected surprise, request that the magician teach the guests a simple card trick or how to juggle.
Create a stage in one area of the house where the magician can perform. If your child knows a couple magic tricks and would be willing to perfom them, ask the magician to incorporate them into his show. Your child's friends will be amazed with their talent. Provide each child with his very own magic carpet to sit on to watch the show. Visit a local carpet store and ask for carpet samples from discontinued carpet models.
Magicians are also great for casino parties and corporate events.
Magic can also be incorporated into a Harry Potter theme party. Enroll each guest into wizard school and hire a magician to teach the guests a few tricks and illusions. Turn one room in your house into 'Hogwarts - School for Wizards'. Once each child had mastered the tricks, present them with a certificate of completion.
