at the party. Encourage guests to bring items that symbolize typical resolutions:
- Dollar bill with the 4 digit year in the serial number - saving money
- Burger King Crown - improving relationships - treat each other like a king or queen
- Gas receipt for the exact amount of the coming new year - $20.10 - saving money
- Can of black eyed peas - good luck in the new year
- Bottle of champagne - ring in the new year
- Stick of chap stick - ensure many kisses in the coming year
What is it
Take close up photos of objects around the house and encourage guests to identify the mystery objects.
Family Vacation
Children love the thrill of the hunt. A family vacation is a great opportunity to send the kids on a hunt for mysterious items. A scavenger hunt can make the
vacation fun and educational. Encourage children to find items that will force them to learn. For example, if the vacation is camping
have the children find leaves from different types of trees - maple, oak, birch, etc. If the vacation is to the Grand Canyon
have the children find facts about the grand canyon and other local attractions. The possibilities are endless.
